Pinched this idea from the Mackem board and Commachio.
So what job do you do or did you do?
Or what type of jobs have you done?

Obviously I can't name the company but I work as an air steward for a national budget airline. Get to see lots of Europe.

Currently unemployed, previous Administrator, receptionist, clerical officer.

Looking to be a full time receptionist now. Sounds like a lasses job but if it pays good money and is a way to get out of boring data input position then I'm all for it. I like being around people now, unlike a few years ago when I was a socially awkward spaz.

You must get loads of fanny mate!

I've always wondered about this, in a job that's predominantly female you're flying all over the world, sometimes stopping overnight where you's obviously all get pissed up and party, you must do loads of bucking and get pick of the litter too?

Yeah I saw and answered to this on the mackem board. Some of them had interesting jobs.

I'm a fireman, also an electrician but don't do much of that due to looking after my little un.
Used to work in retail whilst I was at college/uni and then installed Virgin media before getting into fire service.

I've worked in a cafe in a leisure centre (poolside cafe **** me I was ****ing non stop, in the toilets though and once I think in the stockroom) in a pub or two, I worked in ikea (did a girl in the the toilets, she also worked there, its not all ****ing) on the railway, landscaping, building sites, a call centre, and eventually I am back in construction, shopfitting , going for telehandling license for the **** of it

    Not in order

Managed to bone a few but there ain't that many crew in comparison to the likes of BA. Layovers historically are where most of the action happens. Usually chicks in bars who dig my uniform or think I'm gay and therefore a challenge. It's almost like a Penis fly trap :()
Once saw a first officer get a cheeky nosh on a baggage belt in Faro. I may write a book one day.

Current Job - GIS Specialist for a Water Utility Company. It's a pretty cool job. I get to create and play with lots of maps and lots of cool gadgets that capture data (assets) to within 50cm accuracy (GPS).

Being the only GIS guy in the company, it also means that I get to have 2 massive monitors outputting at a ridiculous resolution for working with CAD/GIS data and plans etc.

Previous jobs: Business Analyst, GIS Officer, Systems Development Officer, Mortgage Consultant, Sales Consultant, Delivery driver for Car Hire firm, QA Engineer for an Electrical Engineering Company.

My current job is cool, but out of the pick of them my favourite had to be working for the car hire place. I enjoy driving, so I got to drive around in spanking new cars everyday. Quite good fun washing and cleaning them (especially in the summer....not too flash in the winter) but I'd quite happily go back to it if I had to to pay the bills.

I'm a golf professional and also have a property maintenance business.

I now only coach a couple of days a week as the property business takes up most of my time.
