This We wanted an actual discussion on who may get relegated, didn't expect the Hull and Dramas on here saying "Leicester, because they just aren't good enough", without any real justification.
Well, it's ok then and we will be relegated because of the history and the neutrals have said so..... I forget that there are no neutrals when you talk about money grabbing and rule breaking QPR........ P.s Caulker and Mutch are bad signings because their club relegated last season.......
If you read the comments there ha seen some complimentary (from myself certainly) comments about those signings and I do not think QPR will go down nor do I think we will so I'd rather have proper discussion than comments like those, and the only say that will happen is if you help it
Seriously i think that both Leicester and QPR will survive. In Nigel Pearson Leicester have a good solid manager and their team is very united. Last season they were absolutely convincing especially after christmas. Their clever playing system with good team spirit and couple of shrewd signings will take them safety long before season ends. In Schmeichel jr. they also got one of the best keepers in the premier league. QPR are far from "team full of mercenaries" this time and if we could keep Remy we will have probably a lethal striking force with Remy&Austin. So i expect no relegation battle this season for us. Burnley, Aston Villa and WBA or Palace go down. Swansea will also struggle but if they could keep Bony they might just stay up. Then there are Southampton....Somehow i believe Koeman and they also escape just..So here it goes: 13. QPR 14. Leicester 15. Southampton 16. Swansea 17. Crystal Palace 18. Burnley 19. Aston Villa 20. WBA
That I agree with 100% and couldn't have put it better. I think both clubs have enough about us to stay up and the only fault rival fans seem to be able to pick with us is the lack of premier league experience but some of those clubs you mentioned have much deeper issues than that. As for QPR, I'd say last season you had one of the mid underperforming squads and manager in the division but I just feel Redknapp is much happier in the prem and you'll do better for it
18. Swansea 19. Leicester 20. Burnley I honestly don't think Leicester or Burnley have enough quality to survive, and both have managers without PL experience. Swansea have an inexperienced manager and have lost a lot of players. Not wumming just my opinion.
Hope we do better than you predict mate. I think we will surprise a few teams and pick up enough points to stay up. We shall see though
Point taken, I tend to think that the only real reason people tip us to go down is this lak of experience issue meaning aside from that we seem no more likely to go down than half the league. What I hope will contribute to keep us up is that some clubs have much deeper issues than that such as Villa (free fall, need to go down and rebuild), Southampton (manager and half the team gone), West Brom (odd managerial appointment and not really strengthened their side) etc. I think in the scheme of think experience is maybe not the biggest issue but we will see, esspecially if we get a couple more signings in I'll feel very positive
The Bloomberg super computer counters ... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/foo..._campaign=1490 ... I know where my faith is ....
Lets get 1 thing perfectly clear. The man who is the face of football on the BBC certainly doesnt think were going down
I love the way he says all good things about us then just "I still feel the Foxes will struggle to survive." Well thanks for that Phil. Some justification for your "feeling" would be nice. EDIT: Here's McNulty's predictions for last season. He bravely predicted the newly promoted sides to do well then too!: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23001874
An intresting thread. I think there are prob 8-10 teams that could go down including Leicster, Burnley & us. Not sure last seasons performances will have much value this year TBH. Think both of us have enough to survive if the managers get it right ND if the players deliver the goods. Our problem last time was we got nothing from the players and had a **** manager. Your boys will put i in but sometimes that isnt quite enough to win in the prem. What ever happens Im just hoping for 17 th thanks. Good luck lads, its gonna be intresting
I will say it just one more time. Take note for end of season. HULL CITY 14TH. LEICESTER CITY 15TH. from the person who told you that you would walk the league last season After you lost your play off game .
Alright mate long time no speak. Very excited now for Saturday and the big kick off. We have a dreadfully difficult start. Everton, Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Utd in the first 5 games, but hey that's why we wanted to be up there with the big boys. We could well be on zero points after 5-6 games though I'm hopeful of sneaking a win v Everton on Saturday All the best mate
