**** being a landscape gardener in Oz mate, just sorting out a few daffodils and the next thing you know some python's got your arm upto your shoulder in it's mouth.

Get the snake off and run into the sea to wash the wound clean and a shark bites both your legs off!

    Not for me.

Went to grab it and luckily noticed it was a ****ing spider cruising down its web off my head! **** my pants I did but that's a normal day here comm. just gotta stay away or be aware of the brown snakes, once bitten you've only got an hour or two to be treated before your dead..

Work for an Oil & gas company responsible for running subsea equipment like Xmas Trees, Wellheads, EDP/LRP etc. Currently supervising my company's involvement with Chevrons Wheatstone project off of Barrow Island. Been doing this 8 years now, and before that worked as a barman on Bondi Beach for 5 years. Absolutely loved that job, especially tourist season with the Swedes, Brazilians, Noggies and Irish coming in their hordes. Always a party somewhere. Before that worked for an oil & gas company when I was 16 in Saudi. Hope to stick with the current mob for a while, but want to move up - and somehow score a job down in South America again. Need to find me a Latina woman haha.

I'm colour blind, that will make my survival chances as a landscape gardener in Oz about slim to none. Vicious little bastards as well, you can't just trap things over there in jars and tubs, as soon as they see you with a Tupperware in your hand they're going for you, chasing you down the street ready to kick your head in.

Very deceitful the ****s, half the time people don't even know what they've been bitten by their that quick! Wild boar scared me the most staying out in central QLD. Such an illusive beast. I clearly remember walking over a massive trench one day and asking my mate what it was.. He said its where the boar sleep! Instantly I **** my pants then he proceeded to tell me about how they've attacked tents at night injuring many people by running through em.

Great thread Comm, well done mate <applause>

I'm a professional photographer, used to work with the catalogue companies i.e. Very, Littlewoods so got down to Manc quite a bit. Helped set up and ran the 1st 1 hour lab in Darlington and then went to Edinburgh as a Sales Director for a pro lab.

These days I look after my equal number one's to get through life and be happy, there's more to life to me than money now. I used to say that 50% of the people get up on a Monday morning to rip off the other 50%, those percentages are probably well off the mark now. I shot a wedding a couple of weeks ago, made £300 profit so it's the 1st steps of doing what I love again..<ok>

Something I'm utterly jealous of and something I'm completely unable to pick up for some reason. I know what needs to go into a shot but I just cannot frame it.

I went straight into the forces from school and when I came out, I just jumped from job to job for a good few years as I couldn't get settled, I rarely kept a job much longer than a few months. I then took a sales job which I intended to last just 6 months before I went travelling, it didn't work out like that and I had found something I could really excel in. 8 years later and I'm still here working for the same company. For the last year I've been on the sick as I went through a really bad time, I'm over that and ready to return but the money on the sick is so ****ing good it's holding me back and I'm guaranteed it for 5 year! Basically our insurance company pays me out as I'm on long term sick and been at the company over 5 years, it's worked out at 75% of my basic salary AND 75% of my average commission. Considering I've always been a top seller I'm currently pulling in a wage that most 9-5 people would be proud of. I will probably be having another 6 months off before I go back.

I've also financially backed a couple of local lads starting up their own business for an amount back plus a percentage of their profit for a year. I've bought and sold cars, boats, jet skis etc. I've shamefully got a love for money and will turn to almost anything to keep my bank balance building.
