A striker that can score 20+ goals in the championship can make the step up and score atleast 10+ in the prem which is what we would need replacing.

Long is on 50k a week. This is another reason i think we're prepared to sell him. we just cant sustain those wages. And before you say anything I know a family member who told me that Long "literally doubled" his 25k pw at WBA.

Well despite what your nan's been telling you, he wasn't.
 
I'd like to see us go for Mattia Destro. He's well down the list at Roma, young, point to prove and needs some games. Season long loan and everyone is happy.

He's a very similar player to Long if we're going like-for-like.
 
I doubt there will be any deals with WBA after the Long transfer and the sour grapes with Lescott.

He's contracted until June 2017, but I wouldn't have thought he's on massive wages and Albion have just brought in Brown Ideye for a massive sum. Plus they also have Ancihebe and Sessegnon.

He's a player I really rate and I know Brucey tried to get him on loan in our Championship season (before we got Gedo).

Good player, I'd be happy with that provided we had first option and a decent buy out clause.

A couple of weeks after Long and Jela signed I was chatting to somebody at the club about wages and our top earner was Jelavic, with Long just behind him. None of our players are on more than 45k, not at the moment anyway.

Despite our scouting range being a little more quality than previous seasons I never see Italy as a place to go to.
 
Scientific approach required. Jordan Rhodes is currently top premier league goalscorer on football manager so is the player we should sign. Suarez 1 behind, but is a t*at so Barcelona can keep him.
