http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28742392 This guy has done a run down of where he thinks teams will finish this season and has us down for 10th. think most of us would be happy with that Thoughts?
My biggist wish is that we don't end up dogfighting in March so 40 points by end of Feb would do for me, anything else would be a bonus
Yeah, banter aside. Could well be. I think both Swansea and Southhampton will struggle big time. I think Villa and WBA will do a bit better than expected, WBA is a typical yoyo team, one season decent the next utter garbage. Not sure why Phil thinks Stoke will be quite strong though... I don't see it. Also counting out Arsenal at the expensive of liverpool and ManU ... I don't think so. Arsenal always always make the CL places, no matter what. I have a feeling City might find the running tougher this year.
Big Phi, may as well ask that Greek **** who married that German bird, now got a git posh house in Buckingham, with a load of Corgi's ****ting everywhere.
I actually think he has a valid point.Looking at the teams he has below us, why cant we finish 10th? I'd be delighted with 10th then build on that the following seasons.
Your views are as fascinating as ever, I'm sure your contribution will be greatly appreciated by yourself.
A very good point and the answer is, 'no reason'. Some of the clubs that have finished even higher have had squads no better than our own. What they've had is a stable environment, a definite plan and a manager who understands tactics and the power of substitutes & selection. I believe we have all of that now so we need to seize the chance and make 2 more good signings. This could be a very good year for Sunderland and I think the owner, manager & players also have the 'Wembley bug' which is encouraging.
I've got no problem with his opinion to be fair, with regards to where Arsenal will finish but it's just that logic behind the prediction. Here's mine... United will win the league on the last weekend in April because there's four giraffes painted on the side of the school at the bottom of my street. The three relegated teams will be Burnley, Leicester and QPR because they didn't finish above 17th in the PL last season.
