I live in Leeds, and watch them 3-4 times a season. Friends who have season tickets (thus even more informed than myself) say Byram is not even worth the £4.5m initial bid, and may in fact be the type of player who doesn't have the right attitude to progress much further than he has to date. In summary, McCormack's £11m move to Fulham has buggered the British transfer market completely.
If Boruc wants to chase fame and fortune elsewhere, Boaz Myhill has much-needed experience in European competition.
How about Berahino, would quite like him as he has potential. I think that is probably most peoples disappointment spending £40 millionish on players that we are unlikely to be able to develop in the same way we have with our generally younger previous acquisitions.
As if loosing so many good players wasn't bad enough but brining in below average journeymen strikers who don't score better than 1:4 has brought us to a new low...unbelievable decision!
A lot of Hull fans dissapointed he may be leaving. Considering Andy Carroll went for 35m & other signings this summer it's not as bad as it first appears. Would prefer Ings but **** it. On a side note. The apparent list of Spurs players that are for sale could improve our side massively. Lennon + Dawson + a few mil for Morgan? I'd take that...

Umm Sharp going to Leeds for £5m???? If this is true football has gone mad. Edit: he corrected himself and said 500k.
He's apparently on £55k per week basic salary with us. That will obviously inflate after a big money move. Good value for money. I still think it's rubbish.
IMO I would prefer Danny Ings, better value for money imo,so what's happened to that potential deal? Was it on or was it just speculation? Shane Long is on a reported 55k a week,I wouldn't have thought he would accept a drop in wages to come to us,so the maths are pretty simple really. 12mill fee, contract 5 years maybe? Could be 4. Plus various bonuses,it really all adds up to a pretty sizeable gamble imo, don't get me wrong I like Long but not at those prices, and for me would prefer Ings, whom I'm just speculating would cost us less over the course and we might get a better return in terms of goals. Has Reed finally lost the plot?
