I met Alan Brazil a few years ago. He's entertaining and good company but there's no getting away from the fact that he's an ignorant drunk. If I'm not mistaken the other voice on that clip was Brian Moore. I believe he's been afflicted by depression.
Another movie, which I liked was Moscow on the Hudson, loved Dead Poets, Good Will Hunting... heck, I'm a biased fan, there's not much of his stuff I didn't like!
Man was a genius, One hour photo was awesome, great actor, even dan 'homer simpson' castalanenta could not bring the genie to life how robin did! Think he did another film where he was the bad guy that was awesome, want to say insomnia. Never given the credit his abilities deserved Sad sad loss
Fun fact: His half brother Maclein Smith-Williams was my physics teacher. He could not be MORE opposite than what Robin Williams was. Still, this man held a big big big part of my childhood. I hope he is safe now and the demons are gone. Edit: Strange thing though, anyone see what dreams may come and what he went to hell/purgatory for in the movie??..........
One of my favourite Robin Williams films Bluff,he had already died in a car accident and woken up in a sort of heaven. Also happened to be one of his artist wifes paintings. She then dies but goes to 'hell' because it was suicide. He then travels to see her again.Wow! Good film, very emotional.
It's why Brazil is on there, because he's old fashion and arrogant with a big gob. Perfect for a radio phone-in show, he annoys people and they ring in. Usually everyone just laughs at his stupidity but on this occasion he's stepped so far over the line that the line looks like a dot!!!
I've not watched it. I saw it was on last night but only had half hour left (that was on +1 too already) so I left it. Will watch it at some point.
