It is strange, gave me a start when I first saw it, never been back - unless it can morph into a fox or a cat, loads of them been in the garden <laugh>

DR - I'd be careful leaving your door open if you get foxes around, they're getting cheekier going in houses.

G I think it was Donga's dog who got shot.

Anyone got the BBC Sport app on their phones? Can set up alerts to inform you when a goal or result come through for specific teams etc. Quite handy, to have, saves checking them every 5 minutes.

Only if tea counts as drinking. I couldn't even take a picture of it as it was dark outside. Nobody believes me it was a rare occasion I was in on my own. Although they didn't believe I saw an armadillo walking along the street in Florida either.

Very believable .... now if you told me you saw a fast moving snail at the bus stop I'd say that was a bit far fetched ....

Click the quick links on the right (how to move from football, to cricket, to f1 etc) and there is one that ays "My Alerts". Then just click the + and can select a team and if you want to be notified about line ups, goals, HT scores etc

Got mine set up for LFC and Brighton. Got the notifications for the Brighton goals come through and was good. Had it up on laptop as well and came through on phone quicker than it did on Laptop <ok>

  15. Figured it out. I didn't have the app installed. I'd setup a bookmark and put a short cut on my desktop. Just switched it and got the updates for Liverpool and Stags :)

Not a fan of the new Sky Sports App. They've changed it to all silver and blue now rather than all blue. Just looks like it's frozen when it originally loads now though

    I think you're right, JB.

I've had a dog shot by a farmer for 'worrying' sheep -- I doubt it did, though. The farmer was a twat and my dog was fine around all animals.

In another story, my dad shot two of our dogs for the same thing. The same farmer had caught those two dogs, who'd escaped our dog run (again) and my dad was looking to get them back. The farmer insisted the were 'worrying' the sheep, but my dad said they were sitting next to the farmer when he arrived and didn't even look at the sheep, who were in the same field. The farmer insisted that my dad should call a vet to put the dogs down, or he'd shoot them. My dad went ape. He grabbed the shotgun off the farmer and said that if any one would kill his dogs it'd be him. He shot them then and there and told the farmer to clean away the bodies. He then spent the next two days in the pub, pissed out of his mind and tearful.

I'm surprised he didn't shoot the farmer to be honest. A week later, though, that farmer was jumped, on his way home from the pub, and was severely beaten. I noticed, that same week, my dad had more than a few cuts on his knuckles. He insisted he got them at work, though. :bandit:

Perhaps, but farmers shooting dogs is fairly common, unfortunately.
