Thunder storms here, had to log off for a bit coz they were right overhead, just as well it was when i was doing my exercises otherwise i might have missed something! lol

 

Interesting theory that one of the lads at work came up with H, We are all born with a predetermined number of breaths to take , use them up quickly a al lots of exercise and you pop your clogs sooner Take things a little easier and you live longer !
I hasten to add this thought was from a 60 yr old who regularly cycles 35k for fun!!!

 

An interesting theory which appears to ignore the possibilities of being knocked down by a bus

 

should have added accidents or illness not included in the theory

I've been mulling over that theory, Norway. Aside from the accident issue, there's also the more metaphysical question of who does the predetermining. Hard to imagine God sitting on high saying, "Oh, Hornethologist...five billion, twenty-three million, four hundred and sixteen thousand breaths I think. Next..."

Also, if you knew do you think you'd keep count?

 

that's a strange thought...how could you keep count in your sleep?

 

For some strange reason I found myself looking at the General Chat board, what a complete and utter load of codswallop. Some of the thread titles look like they have been crated by some demented pervert! First and last look on there!

Oh - and thanks for best wishes and enquires after Mrs L all - apart from the fact that Wales appears to be a third world country when it comes to cancer care - it would appear that for the moment all is well for Mrs L

 

So if I have breathed on average 15 times per minute that means I have taken 879,595,200 breaths so far - if I live to 100 that will be about 1,500,000,000 or 1.5 billion breaths

 

When we came to Wales and visited the doctor - he said quote "You bloody English coming to Wales and breathing our air" Now I know why he was bothered. - mind you his wife - also a doctor at the surgery said she could not understand why anyone would move to Wales
