Yes that's right, an NI politician has made another gaff. This time it is a DUP politician who commented that he was glad to see Tyrone beat by Donegal and he hoped Donegal beat Londonderry to keep the GAA celebrations away from the west of NI. I can't remember who the politician was because I heard it briefly on the radio on my way into work.

Is anyone else sick and tired of Unionist politicians coming out with derogatory comments about Nationalist culture. It's not just Unionists either as I have heard disgraceful comments from Nationalist politicians about elements of Unionist culture like parades.

Northern Ireland is never going to change until the politicians lead by example and change their views. Instead of debating more important issues like health, education, the state of the roads etc they come out with things like this that bring us back to the ways of 50 years ago.

All I have to say to them is get it together folks.

    That is all.

The country will never change unless people stop dragging up things from the past. The important issues right now are the economy, the health service's problems, development projects that will benefit the whole country and not just Belfast like the new road from Derry to Aughnacloy which I would be willing to bet will be scrapped.
