Aye in his last 83 premier games he's scored 15!!! He's banging them in. Well worth 35 million.

Exactly, why should a 21 year old who, it seems, is on the brink of scoring a decent amount of goals over the course of a season, for about 1/3 of what a 27 year old with no prem experience went for.

The £4m bid was probably just to rock the boat

Nah, the only reason they want Wickham is Carroll is currently injured. Carroll is very injury prone & wouldn't fit at all in Poyet's system

Didn't say he was mate, I was replying to the previous posters that he doubted he'd scored six.

Mind you, I'd still love him back at Newcastle. On his day, he's unplayable

Unplayable? One semi decent season for you 5 years ago doesn't warrant the amounts that he has been shifted about for. He's inconsistent and usually injured. 1 in 11 for Preston, 1 in 6 for Liverpool and 1 in 4 for west ham doesn't really show an unplayable striker.

West ham fans are arguing that 4 million for wickham is too much! How the **** they justify Carroll's fee is beyond me.

The Sky ad, showing a pic of our home derby win right outside St James'. Nowt to do with Wickham, just for Travelsick's benefit. :p

Lopsided landfill, lad! That's a historic ground where we've played for many a year mate. Not like your Lego built stadiums that rock in the wind. <ok>

We shouldn't sell to Wham anyway. With their issues up front they could be a relegation contender. Particularly since Big Sam is already unpopular.

We'll probably disagree on this one. Your ground could be Southampton, Borough, any one of the newly built stadiums. Soulless bowls.

I agree to an extent, but it's not ugly, it's a nice stadium, built for purpose.

St James has taken the form of when people convert there garage to a downstairs bedroom, just looks stupid.
