If you would like to do that feel free. I have a feeling no-one would survive half a season yet alone a whole season though.
Being accurately able to predict not one but each of Leicester, Burnley, and QPR winning a game would be pretty tough... especially since a draw will eliminate you too.
I would also guess that most people would be out in the first month or two. If everyone's out before the first half of the season is out, we could maybe do it again in the second half with a clean slate. As I said, I'm happy to do the table.
That'll work if you don't mind. Might I suggest we do two modes though... One: Survive the Season - no restrictions on reusing teams Two: Survive the Season: Ultimate - the proposed use each team only once rule This way- when you're out in "Ultimate" you can still continue in regular. Doesn't have to be/but can be on same thread... probably make it more co-ordinated if it were. Also... probably best to start "Ultimate" in week two- because some people who put a suggestion out might not read through the thread again and catch the rule change.
I think two threads could be less confusing, but can understand people not wanting the board cluttered up.
If we started "ultimate" (or whatever it gets called) now on this thread- it would probably confuse people who have already posted... a new thread would give it a separate fresh start and avoid confusion for this first round.
when ever i played this game the intent was you had to show some skill and not be allowed to pick the same team twice in other words you had to say pick palace once, leicester once and say cheslea only once. I mean i could pikc a top team 4 times in a row here and get by. anyone else play that way before?
That's what few others have said and Milk & Nozzer were talking about doing earlier in the thread. You have to pick every team home and away throughout the season (although only 38 game weeks in the season and 20 teams home & away is 40 games.
