Anybody successful enough to buy the club and pump a huge amount into it for player transfers?

It's certainly been an eye opener, the range and variety of jobs is massive.

All walks of life, scattered everywhere, yet all on a sunderland football forum. Just proves, no matter where you are, what you do, the club is always with you.

    Been a good thread.

I don't think there any many billionaires on here. It would be a very interesting business to run but a bloody nightmare when it comes to H&S and licensing.

I'm a Computer Game Designer, currently working in Oxford. Wanted to be a games designer ever since I was 10, studied at school, college and Uni just to get in the industry, which I have been for nearly 20 years. Whats that adage about getting paid for what you love?

Haven't had a legit job other than what I do. Helped a mate out paving for a few months, which was backbreaking, and worked in a nightclub for a few years as a kid, but I love what I do and can't think of anything else I could do to be fair.

Have seen a fair bit of the world because of games design, and something travel related would be my only other interest outside of my current job, despite me hardly fitting into ANY seat (I'm 6'6").

Slaley Hall has openings now. zero basic, 100% commission. eat what you kill, as it were!

seriously tho, our company has offices across the uk. the furthest north is Leeds. i can see what opportunities are available. it is mostly surveyor based work, but happy to see whats what and have a chat.

Fireman, love it and imagine I'll be there til I'm 60.
Lucky enough not to of had a job I disliked.

    Doing dream realistic job.

Real dream job, but I suffer from apathy, astronaut. I do enough to get by and keep people off my back but have never really pushed myself.

I always fancied the idea of being a Firefighter as a kid, then I got interested in messing about with stuff and wanted to do summat else, hence the plan to go to Vaux.

    Neither panned out like.
