I'd say he was the biggest risk by failing a medical, with no insurance and a dodgy heart - it could potentially cost us **** loads. Imagine if he had a heart attack and wasn't insured. #****ed
How many games has Marveaux played for Newcastle since signing? Not many I'm glad our regime is a little more demanding
Ah, but IMO, Bony and Benteke would both flop with us and be worth much less as a result. We stand to lose a lot of cash either way. I don't really want any of them tbh, just think Remy is the one that would most sit us.
So why has he passed Newcastle, QPR and French WC meds? He cant be that much of a risk We werent happy with his attitude apparently but if so we wouldnt be able to say he failed his med, all muddy waters
Being heavily linked to Samuel bloody Eto atm. Really hope this is nonsense. We need a quality striker in his prime Brendon - go fetch him.
Would have loved him 5 or 6 years ago. Top CF, think we we're partly linked with him as well, pretty sure he said something about how great he thinks Liverpool were etc.
No, and can't see us going for him. We've already got our "older, cheaper CF bench option", can't see us going in for another player who is 33/34 (or 40?) and wants £100k+ a week.
Eto has to be bollox?? Unless we truely are stuck and sign him up for a year - would rather give borini a crack if we can't get our targets
®Red Phil® ‏@PhilHannon · 1m Samuel Eto'o would raise the average age of our squad to 143 #LFC #Fact
Remy was diagnosed with a minor heart defect years ago and has been insured and transferred to a number of clubs since, so that's a crock of s**t. Notably have Liverpool actually said anything relating to the deal? No, they've just had the press doing their bidding for them, over a supposed 'failed medical' - which just happened to co-incide with the Borini deal falling flat. QPR have openly said the reason given is bollocks as nothing on those lines has been said to them or the player by LFC - nothing to counter that has come back from LFC If in doubt, watch Remy get insured and then transferred before the window shuts.....
Again Tobes seems to know more about Liverpool than any of us and the press seem to. I do find it amazing how you know all these facts about a team you dislike... Maybe something has happened in the last year which has made it worse, or the other clubs felt the risk was greater to take than we did... The fact we're still looking for another striker, with or without Borini, suggests that his deal falling through (which it actually hasn't yet, Sunderland are still in negotiations with him) has nothing to do with it.
