Ince is on a two year deal. He came across as saying that this was a stepping stone in his continued training for what he believes is his right level (his money-grubbing Pa no doubt influences his thinking quite a bit). Bruce and the club will be able to capitalise after one year; bugger all after two and an extended contract is unlikely to be accepted on what we would offer. Of course all of this depends on him having a blinding season and I think he will. He will want to play for England and, just as many of you are saying, his chances will be improved in a top tier team - especially a foreign one. Ergo, he will achieve an England place in the 15/16 season; I would like to think it would be earlier, but . . . We have Woy! Davies would be down the line of options in Woy' s way of thinking. Not negative, just making a call on what I can read between the lines; it's just an opinion. Love, Nancy X
I can't understand what you get out of being on these boards. You hate football, hate City and hate our fans.
Ince's deal is short to combat a higher fee in the tribunal. I think come the end of the season it will be either someone lodges a bid or we will tie him down to an extended contract. I would rather it be the latter if he ends up playing well
I don't know, but Woy seems to pick Chris Smalling for some unknown reason and he barely seems to play for United.
But Smalling rarely plays for England so it doesn't really equate to anything. Not being in a top 8 team is already makes your chances of being in the England team massively less likely. Then throw into the mix that he is 29 and isn't a guaranteed starter.
