  5. Welcome back JB <hug>

Dyer should have had more but for injury, he was a much better player than we saw but he was robbed on medical grounds.

We could get a penalty that involves no fouls or handballs too #clatenberg

  7. Dyer was a quality player as a youngster and showed a lot of promise until injury struck. Same goes for Woodgate and King too. Never like to see players robbed of a career they deserved through injury.

Dyer was pants... had a bit of pace, but when that went, had nothing. Never added more to his game and relied on the pace.

  9. Ridiculous thing to claim. He could take, pass and shoot, he should have become a top CM. Can you even remember him as a youngster?

He was a winger mainly, had pace and when lost that, didn't have enough of an all round game to succeed.

  11. He was used as a winger later in his career. Wrongly IMO, much like Milner is nowadays. He was very much aCM at Ipswich and Newcastle pre-injury

Agree to disagree. from what I remember he was a player that had pace and lost it when he had his injuries.

I'm with Gerrez on Dyer. I also agree he was best as an AM, not a winger.
