This is a good point, could you imagine if the result had been the other way round, the media would have been saying we were in crisis before the season even started, and making wild claims that we need to buy at least 5 players to get into the top 4.

indeed , he could hear all the Arsenal fans laughing up their sleeves. "yeah you take the extra money lad , and shine your arse on that bench , we will take the shield home ."
i think one of the biggest positives from that game was that we played . From the whistle we were sharp and closed them right down . so many games last season the first 20 minutes were like a training match . and we paid. Lets hope that new start becomes the default start .
