That's what some bloke said to - cough - "Neil" about a week ago too. I almost choked on my ham sarnie when I read the guy who has a direct line to the Mods telling auld Neil to "Lighten up. If you can't stand stuff being said to you on the internet, maybe its not the place for you after all" or words to that effect (the thread has been deleted). I had to read it thrice to make sure it was the poster I thought it was. In fact I still don't believe it!

Yes mate, I went to both matches and the open training session. I was keeping an eye on Tarbs in that session (which Redknapp claims he never took part in) and he looked sharp and definitely not overweight. Two things I noticed, although I was possibly reading too much into it. At HT in the 5-a-side, Austin was strolling with the ball at his feet and Taarabt asked him to pass it to him yet he just walked by him and didn't even acknowledge him. Also, when all the players huddled around Jordan near the goal receiving instruction, Tarbs sat back in the center circle on his Toblerone. It just didn't seem right.

Well, you know my views differ from yours re Tarbs, but even I want this over and done with now, and if its reduced to petty schoolboy bullying and sending to Coventry, shame on all involved. He has to leave, the sooner the better for all.

Agreed RE Tarbs. He's his own worst enemy but if that's what they're doing then shame on them. He came across as a very nice lad in the meet and greet bit at the end. Probably just too many self-interested handlers like Joorabchian messing with the lad's head.

BTW, I asked Remy was he staying and he said "yeah", then grinned and said "maybe". I hope we can hold onto him. Good quality.

i had hoped - like most here - that your contrition was genuine. We should have known better, given your record.

 

Oh, and rest assured, I have no issues in pointing our wherever you break your word to be good. So bear that in mind.

 

The last post was almost a year before yours Willy. Pray tell how they managed to wipe a whole post off the thread before you got to it? Is that even possible? Maybe the digital tooth fairy arrived and stole away with it mistaking it for a 6 year old's incisor?

I can assure you that my contrition is genuine toward those who deserve it. To those who do not - charlatans and posturers for example - they will continue to have my unbridled contempt.

Perhaps I'm not the only one who should show a little contrition...

I see some things never change.
With regards to the OP, Whilst i dont agree with all the reasoning for the last "round of bans" ( a lot of hypocrysy and doule standards but thats for anothe time)I do think the Flyer thing was handlled perfectly. There was nothing i would have called offensive but its up to him.

I've know Flyer fom a couple of site and he pointed me and many members to this board.

I used to have endless run ins with him on other sites but we never got banned.

Looking back at some of his posts, he isnt the saint everyone is trying to make him sound and has certainly dished it out too.
I think he'll be a loss but he's a grown man and its his decision to make. Good luck to him whatever he decides.
Certainly noticed a few on this threa who used to dish it out to him have changed thier tune..Shame that!

Anyway, back to the OP. Well handled as far as im concerned
