The popularity of rugby over football in Wales is a myth.More people play and watch football in Wales and there are more football clubs.Thousands of people also cross the border to watch English teams.Swansea and Cardiff football clubs also get far higher attendances than their respective rugby teams

you could potentially get them on loan. if a new CB comes in Bartley will almost certainly be going out again. Vela seems to have a future with the club, i believed his time might be up, but if Bendtner goes and Gervinho comes in, he might go on loan too.

wages could be a sticking point, but they'd both be worth it.

that may be true in South Wales. I've frequented it, was dating a lass from down there for a long while. her family & friends were mad on Rugby, followed the Blues, her best mate was semi-pro, no football at all. perhaps my perception of it is skewed by this.

i lived in North Wales for almost 5 years and there was far more rugby there than football.

wages will be a big point.
as for rugby The Ospreys are lucky to get 8 thousand in every game unless it a derby game and they sell out. but our average attendance last season was about 16 thousand.

We've even got a Rugby League team <laugh>
I know Llanelli have played up here a few times to try and boost the popularity of union but it is miles behind football

If Arsenal play the best football in the premier league, how come they haven't won it for quite some time?

    Just out if interest like?

Surely best football wins right? Or is it a load of none effective tippy tap bollocks that is in actual fact like the emperors new clothers, i.e. ****e?

we didnt win the championship but was the best footballing side by far. QPR won the league and they didnt come close to the best side in the league. i know that where you finish in the end of the season counts.

Ok then, maybe what you're looking for is 'most attractive' rather than best. And even then, in Arsenal's case it is a myth. You'll find out for yourself soon enough mate.
As a resident of Swansea I personally can't wait for it all to start.
