It's definitely a start FLT! It's still frustrating that we are labouring at bringing in centre halves. I have long thought Yoshida isn't up to it, and obviously Jos should be nowhere near the PL. With that said, there is still clearly some ambition to improve if we are making signings like this - even if the outgoing transfers were handled dreadfully.
Reads the game OK, and gets in the right position more often than not but he worries me with the ball at his feet, his first touch isn't assured enough, his passing is poor and he isn't a natural leader. I would be happy for him to be 4th choice and lose Jos altogether, but him being first or second choice isn't good enough for me.
Funny you should say that, if Mig doesn't improve this year we could well be looking for a new keeper Think he's a very good keep though, good signing. Obviously a very good shot stopper and being a big keeper helps his reach. Shame you signed him before the first game of the season though
