Latest rumour is that he's just had his medical and it'll be completed tomorrow. Although nobody with real pedigree has confirmed this yet. Only Fourth Official, but he's got a lot wrong with us this summer.
We've bid 5 mill and it's nearly DD. The chicken piri piri and use of SB's villa has swayed it our way
The people on their forum seem to think he wants out. Sunderland apparently want 8 mill for him, although the crazy members of their forum think they should hold out for plus 10 mill as they think they will get at least 8 mill from a tribunal. I guess he has one year left on his contract.
We have been watching Wickham all summer and with us offering 7-8M for Troy Deeney we might revisit Wickham. Apparently Gus Poyet has told him he needs to sign a new deal or be sold as he is in the last year of his contract. The 4M West Ham offer is poor
If their fans are right on their forum he would break your 30k a week salary cap. They seem to think he wants some crazy amount of money per week and thats why he wont sign a new deal with them.
I think 10m because we don't need to sell, I reckon the compo will be around 6m but I think West Ham will pay 10, because they're stupid. Sunderland are to meet Man City's asking price for Micha Richards(5m). I expect other clubs to meet it too and kick start that particular transfer saga. Would be a cracking buy for anyone outside the top 7.
Reports coming out he wants 48k per week for a six game run of form in three years, naturally the club and wickham are quite far apart from coming to an agreement.
£9m for Rodwell and £5m for Richards? Ffs Brucey I hope you saved some cash in the pot! Not that our business has been bad or anything but those two deals would be better than anything we've done so far.
Your bound to say that But then again how much have you seen of Danny Drinkwater over the last 12 months because he has evolved massively on many aspects
I completely agree with you. Both are incomparable at the minute Livermore is a solid Prem midfielder but nothing special (im not saying he is a bad player) Will i think Drinkwater will be a success, you cant judge him until around Christmas. He is our playmaker like Huddlestone is to you. Drinkwater plays alot more on the front foot then Huddlestone though.
I looks like Liam Cooper is about to sign for Leeds for £750k. We're rumoured to have a 35% sell-on clause. Edit: It seems it's not a cash deal, there's quite a lot in add-on's, but we'll still get about £150k.
