The ever-diminishing value of our mercurial Moroccan has reached a new low with Milan's latest offer. By deadline day he'll be off on a free at this rate... http://www.football-italia.net/54170/milan-offer-qpr-£3m-taarabt?
As much as it hurts me to say this, we have to accept their offer. It seems pretty clear that he doesn't want to be here and that we are not going to play him, so there is absolutely no point keeping him here.
Adel excelled at a top European Club. Any sale under £ 10 million is a joke. If he really wants to leave Arry need to get him playing as he can for us, help us to a few points and underline his proper value.
For the pisstake drop in the ocean that is £3m I'd certainly play hardball. He'll come round and woo us all again.
Adel should be convinced that Milan are disrespecting him and the club with such a derisory offer. Surely he would want to stay at a club that values him more highly than his suitor.
If the well renowned 'Man Manager' Harry Redknapp, the positive affirmation man Steve 'Blacky' Black and Joe 'Jaws' Jordan can't sort him out then I guess Taarabt feels he really is too good for us. Shame really. I was hoping that he'd wake up and smell the coffee and see that we're the right club for him right now. Get out there, buy into the new found team ethic and show the Prem that you can do it at this level and keep us up then get the nice move that you've always desired at the end of the season. Win win for all concerned. I wouldn't begrudge him or any player of ours a bigger move under those circumstances. Seems it ain't gonna go that way though. What can you do if someone doesn't want to be here and give 100% and play for you?
As I hear Arry he's not trying. Arry should get him playing. If he can't they should replace Arry with someone that can make the effort. But then they should have fired Arry months ago.
Even if he doesn't want to be here, which is looking true, then we still don't sell below his market value imo. Other clubs play hard ball and get the figure that is right for the club. Also, remember we have to pay Spurs 40% of any transfer fee - so £3m leaves just with just under £1.5m. Not enough in my book. AC Milan should stump up the correct fee if they really want him, or don't bother. Taarabt has to know that we won't sell on the cheap.
Agreed. I can already hear the strains of "ohhhh Bobby Zamora" fading into the distance with the "Tarrabt's too good for you" all the while growing louder.........
I don't just think it's Harry mate. He just doesn't want to be here regardless of who's in charge. He feels that he's too good for us. You can't blame Harry or anyone else, it's down to him. No one attributes Bosingwa's attitude to Harry despite achieving far more than Taarabt is ever likely too. The same should apply to Taarabt. It's his problem and it's down to his own unprofessionalism that he's the way he is. I'd love him to be the player that we'd all wish he could be. But this unconditional puppy love needs to stop. He doesn't want to play or be here.
Rip there ****ing hands off 3mill for a fat useless mug is a great bit of buisness, the sooner he leaves the better.a one season wonder, he's served his purpose, let someone else put up with his ****,wash our hands of the lazy bastard
Great point. Troy Deeney is a good example of this. Instead of sulking and refusing to train despite wanting away he added to his stock by banging another one in yesterday. He'll not be at Watford come Aug 31st due to his attitude.
