Agree with campionjack with most of this. I think we are very weak in defence now that chico has gone and we really need two or even three defenders drafted in and quick. Bony needs to be the lone striker with gomis behind him having a free reign, we need routs and dyer on the wings and ki or leon as central midfield, shelvey has to play for his long shots capabilities. we need to play our best formation that we get the most success with. We have a good squad with who we have but we are now looking very fragile at the back and that must be monks priority to rectify before the window closes even if we only get them on loan...
Dai ... can't disagree with any of this other than Montero / Routs / Dyer are in competition for the two wide places, but that's splitting hairs perhaps. Let me ask you ..... on defense ..... do you think Monk will phone a friend .... maybe give Sousa a bell and ask him for a quick refresher. On a serious note, if I was Jazz, I'd look at what happened on Sat and wonder why I couldn't do a better job in there at RB or DM. I probably rate him more than most others, but it's got to be frustrating for him.

Yeah we have the players I think what we need is to keep on with our old way of playing and play how we should without worrying about players ego's. Really good players sitting on the bench would be great too and add proper competition for places. A starter CB and a proper cover for Leon before the transfer window shuts would keep me happy
