True he is trying and HBA should take note but we know a rank player is lurking! I'm all for giving chances but Overran is not good!

I know he's been ****e for us, but i don't think anyone can deny he's had a decent pre-season. We're gonna be stuck with him for another two years cos nobody will match his wages, so we've got to hope he improves enough to at least be a useful squad option.

Like has been said, no complaints with his attitude and fitness.

Thought the lad played well today. And yesterday. He gets a bit of rough stick because of the way he looks IMO. But i honestly think he could be an asset this season. He has to learn when t run and when to pass.

Simply though he looks fit as a fiddle.

    Keep him!

He looked very tidy today. He dribbled and passed it well and scored vs. Malaga. Just what management wanted to see he'll now be easier to flog off.

Good athlete. I'm not convinced much else has changed. I'd sell him, Sammy, Vuckic, HBA and Jonas personally. We have Aarons, Sissoko, Cabella, Goufran, SDJ - that is enough. Santon and Armstrong add desperado options. The money and mainly the wages could strengthen an area more desperate for attention.

Apparently Lee Ryder says two clubs are actively scouting him.
Knowing our luck it will be Accrington Stanley and the 'Heed.
Joking aside he'd be the type WEst Ham would go for or one of the promoted clubs.

Dont be fooled friendlies are for fitness and teams are all at different levels when they take each other on.....If he is played in the league and keeps it up then fair play but Im not holding my breath.Seen it all before!

Not from obertan... He's looked awful his whole career until now!! Not expecting much but he does have very good pace. I'm still trying to decide whether it would be better to hold on to him in light of his recent performances or sell him in light of his recent performances.

I think he is way below the standard we are looking for. If he was with another team would we be looking at him?.. I don't think we would so anything we can get for him would be a bonus.

We shouldn't praise him tash, we don't want him going out there with a big head

    Ah that's just awful

He's crap though let's be fair, not always totally useless but he seems to perform half decent when confident and his confidence is blown away by the breeze from a butterflys wings. Pre season seems to be the level of his abilities with us, as soon as the big games come he loses the plot.I think he would be much better off at a smaller club.

He's looked good in all the preseason games. One touch passing, taking people on one on one. Now if it's between him and Aaron's well its Aaron's then by a mile, but with rumors two team's are scouting him and him being on a decent wage I wouldn't be surprised if we offloaded him cheap to cut the wage Bill. You've got to think that he's gonna be one more spot down the pecking order with de jong coming back.

Nobody will take Obertan. The only manager stupid enough to buy him has him. Even on a free he's a waste of money

It is nothing to do with hating him mate. Cisse has at least contributed to the team since he came here particularly in goals. Obertan has done basically f** all in his time here. Just because he has had a few decent games in meaningless friendlies means f** all to me quite frankly. He should have been moved on some time ago and why he is still here Christ knows.
