ill accept that , but you can only beat the team in front of you . but , Yaya Toure is a team on his own .
This game is exactly what we needed going into a new Season. Keeps us the good momentum from our Cup Win.
He sure is. A team that desperately wanted out of city and stooped pretty low in order to get out. Of course a bunch of financial incentives persuaded him he loves city again. At least he does if anyone asks. In reality he would have sold him family to get out of city this summer. I predict one of yayas no impact pile of **** seasons. You know the type, they follow his amazing seasons. Playing well btw.
mmm i wasnt aware of yayas situation at City . But i think you are ONLY going to get mercenary moneygrabbers at city , its a cross they will have to bear .
Oh I'm not... watched him enough for Newcastle. Regardless well done... if we can't win things I'd rather it was Arsenal.
Only switched on for the second half, but Chambers has been very impressive. And if CB is really not his best position then he could develop into a top player in a few years time.
i think he did his job well ,cant ask for more than that . In his role he is never gonna set the world on fire but ...the less you notice him , the better job he has done.
Missed the game, just catching up on the highlights now. ****ing blinding result against Mega bucks City and sets us up nicely for the start of the season. I don't think you can underestimate the confidence that winning at Wembley again will instill in our players. Giroud's goal
I got quite excited before this game and found myself really wanting us to win the game. Maybe BT do a good job of building it up? Really happy with the result, we were the better team, kept a clean sheet and put 3 goals in. On top of that lots of players got minutes on the pitch and looked ready for the season. It's another trophy and we had to beat the league winners to lift it. Bring on the season.
Never understood how in a one against one contest, where what you do has a direct influence on your opponent's performance, how a team playing badly isn't a credit to the other team. This I find is one of the most ignorant things fans can say about a game. This isn't golf where you only have a minor influence on your opponent and everything you do is within your control. If you play badly it is because you failed to cope with the other side's movement, their energy, their tactics, the pace they played at, or any of a number of other things they are doing. It is just bitter f**wit Spurs fans and bias commentators that say the other team played badly whenever Arsenal win a game.
