If this boy died partly because Stewart lost his rag and he is happy to excuse his own behaviour, then he is a sociopath. Normal people would blame themselves even if it was an accident.

No. Not racing, much like the other cars that had pulled to the inside due to the yellow. Why hadn't Stewart? The car in front was hardly right in front of him or obscuring his vision. Everyone else managed to avoid Ward....
That's my guess, as well. I watched the video last night (and immediately wished that I didn't), and there's no chance that Stewart was doing the sub-35 mph that is apparently the limit under yellow. Paired with the fact that you can hear a car accelerating right before it happens, and it's hard not to conclude that he hit the gas to try to give the kid a scare/mud shower and lost the back end.
Can't believe someone filmed that video when there was a chance that the cat could be eaten. I'm not daft enough to expect anyone to risk their life for the cat, but they could have hissed the cat away. And I don't even like cats.
Just got the trailer for Fable's EP delivered. It's rather good in my honest and massively biased opinion. Will be available to watch from tomorrow. Oh, and Dan, clear your box out...!

Yes I know. You can bet nobody would have stepped in. I would have got a bloody great tree branch to defend the cat or simply shooed it away. Better to fight another day with something its own size. I somethimes find that the videos offered at the end of the suggested one are better. There was one of an adult gorilla which had made friends with a kitten and then the kitten had died. Very revealing. Then there was one about a reunion, after 5 years, between a gorilla and the man who saved him from poachers. That was quite poignant too. Both should still be there behind the Cat/Alligator video.

Off to Killarney today. The downside of living on the Island is the time to get anywhere...journey today is car, ferry, bus, train, plane and car again. Journeys take longer because of the waiting times at each stage...leaving at 9.15 for a 3.00 flight...could probably cut one hour off at the most if I was the type who liked tight time schedules, but I'm not. I'm a 'get there and have a coffee' type of girl. Be back Friday....make sure you sign some players whilst I'm away...you let me down last time.
You're going to have about five coffees on this journey then! I have enough time after my train and before my bus for a coffee every morning, but that's as much waiting around as I can handle. I know exactly how long it takes me to get to the train station and I'll time it so that I'm there two minutes before my train. Have a good week, anyway.
