    Read today that apparently Cellino will hold out for £10 million for Byram. Don't think we'll be interested at that price.

    No chance they'll get that. £5,000,000 is a fair price. No doubt the player will want to leave as well.

    So now we are into the final week of pre-season on what day(s) do you think we will capture our elusive CB, CF, Winger or do we already have the players that will face Liverpool???

    Yeah I think The Mirror reported that. I can't see why a young English player would choose Sunderland over us though, it's not like I'm bias or anything.

    Byram will take more than 5m. Probably closer to 8m with a nice add ons package.

    And if you think they'll let us have him without a decent sell on % you're crazy, especially after our sales this summer.

    Perceived homesickness, I bet. If only they knew that this was the best area to live in the UK they'd all want to come. Then it wouldn't be the best area anymore. So let's be thankful he wants to go to Sunderland. :)

    If Cellino was the reason why Leeds managed to get £11m for McCormack, then I can believe that this could be true.

    But if it was just Fulham being stupid with their parachute money, and jumping straight in with an offer that could hardly be refused, then maybe not. Maybe Leeds could be persuaded to part with him for, say, £7m.
