    I think Everton & Spurs will be down in the pack along with ourselves and a few others. Martinez's first season bounce will drop off (they'll still be good but not quite as good as last year) and Spurs will suffer from chopping and changing too much again and having no stability. I think we're close to where we were 12 months ago - no Cabaye but the rest of the squad slightly better.

    at the other end I agree with PJH that the three teams in claret and blue will struggle, though I would throw in Southampton as dark horses to struggle badly (tho I hope I'm wrong)

    Looking at Liverpool today, they could be a massive threat depending on their squad depth. Obviously a friendly but Dortmund were lucky to escape 4-0.
