Looks like Ryan Tunnicliffe and Larnell Cole are on their way out.

”Ryan Tunnicliffe and Larnell Cole have been told they have no future at Fulham by boss Felix Magath.

The former Manchester United midfielders were brought to Craven Cottage on long-term deals in January, but they were shipped out on loan almost immediately when Magath replaced Rene Meulensteen at the helm.”

I believe it is a season long loan - according to the BBC, anyway.

Several newspaper reports are saying that the Spurs manager is prepared to axe at least 5 of his regular squad.
Dembele back at the cottage ,if possible a season long loan if purchasing is out of the question, this would in my
opinion give that centre midfield some backbone.

Would be amazing Kunye but alas I think it is wishful thinking. A player of his quality would be snapped up by someone in the prem or abroad. Bard Friedel could be an interesting alternative though

As an alternative to Dembele? I don't think Brad Friedel would be very good in centre mid froggy. Just kidding, I know what you mean but I think he has a player-coaching role at Spurs so I can't see him leaving that.

I think we'd have more luck targeting Thomas Sorensen of Stoke, if Jack Butland doesn't go on loan again, or Shay Given of Aston Villa. Both keepers are 38 and would tick the experience box.

I don't see it happening as a permanent transfer, but a cheeky loan isn't beyond the question. Don't forget that we can take players on loan outside the transfer window now. If no one comes in to buy Dembele, maybe an early-September loan move might appeal to both him and Spurs.

The spurs manager stated this afternoon that there could be as many as 7 or 8 on the away
list in the next week or so,apart from my views on trying to acquire Dembele, Micheal Dawson
    could be a good signing

I think we've enough centre backs at this stage, though he would provide experience and a bit of fight.

After failing to sign Velkov in the end it appears the club have turned their attentions to a different young Centre Back. Looks like we're on the verge of signing Tiago Casasola from Boca Juniors. A 19 year old Argentinian with an Italian passport (so work permit shouldn't be an issue). I think Felix, or our scouting department have been playing Football Manager, the lad turns into one of the best centre backs around. Pleasantly surprised with this move.

Tiago Casasola on Twitter: "Ya con todo listo, saliendo para el aeropuerto más que contento. #Londres #FulhamFC " which translates to "Now with everything ready, leaving for the airport more than happy. #Londres #FulhamFC".

    Some latest News from Sky

According to reports in Argentina, Fulham are set to sign Boca Juniors' 18-year-old defender Tiago Casasola in an £800,000 deal. Casasola has yet to make a first-team appearance for Boca, but his performances for Argentina's national youth teams have reportedly prompted Fulham to swoop.

    Sounds a very good prospect!

It sounds promising - quite an unusual transfer! Can't think of many South American central defenders going to English clubs so young - can't think of many South American defenders who have done well in England either! Hopefully he settles well.

We should be starting to try shed some weight now with the season coming up - for all Felix likes his players trim he's let the squad got a bit fat.

Most of the excess will fall back into U21s and U18s when not required for the first team so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

Oh good, just what we need, another centre back. Just a couple more and we could play 11 at once.

Latest is that Mitroglou will be heading to La Coruna...

I think he could offer us something this season. But if he goes the cost base is lowering further!

Am I right in thinking that him and Felix didn't see Eye to eye? I can't see either of them going for that move. Much as I like Holtby, I'm not sure he's what we're lacking anyway. With the possible exception of an experienced keeper - and I liked Jorenen on Saturday, my first proper look at him - I think we should give the young 'uns time to grow rather than bring in bigger names to block their progress. It might take longer, but we'll be much better off in the long run.

Holtby is a no for me too... Our youngsters did a fine job on Saturday and will be a blow to their confidence and development as Captain said.
