    Alreet lads

Apologies if it has been asked, I missed it.

I knew they were talking about a home friendly on or around 6th August against Fiorentina or the like. Anyone heard any developments on this?

    Cheers boys

with our lives, not as if the trophy cabinet is bursting. (although the size of that thing will make it a squeeze in there......possible extension to trophy cabinet??)

Nothing about it on NUFC.com yet. They'll put it up on there when there's any confirmation.

Up to Deportivo that, doubt they want to risk losing again. I don't think any of their other opponents have been invited to defend it either.

Peterborough, Huddersfield and Sheffield Wednesday all brought great crowds with them a couple of seasons ago, it would be good to entertain one of those in a home friendly.

That Huddersfield game was hilarious. They were all in great voice until they f***d it up haha.

I'm after a more glamorous tie, maybe someone like Partizan Belgrade or Sporting CP.

They'll be about as glam as we can pull in I think.

Costs could determine who we do get. Times are getting hard.

I'd have thought you'd want a higher calibre of opponent than a Spanish 2nd Division club.

You should know by now that the majority of my posts tend to disregard the general context of the discussion, I just want Hearts to play here so we can judge the general quality of the SPL.

If we were to play an SPL side, surely it would be one of the Old Firm, both of whom we have played in previous pre-seasons
