Yet more bollocks this morning from caught offside. NOW it's both Modric AND Bale going to the Chavs. Sorry, pal, but as I pointed out last night, rumours that might have some foundation are irritating, but to be expected. Why they insist on perpetrating this obvious load of bollocks... Well, I don't know. I really don't know whether to laugh, or cry.
Caught offside and goal.com are terrible websites though. There is no point trying to understand them.
I agree. CaughtOffside should be renamed ****IMadeUpInMyBedroom.com and Goal.com should change to become RandomShittyRumoursWeFoundOnline.com.
Well you have more faith in journalists than I do I've seen little to suggest that bias is put aside, whether in football or in other topics
It tends to work out like this: The Sun: MUPLC The Times: MUPLC The Mirror: Arsenal The Guardian: Chelsea The Mail: Chelsea The Telegraph: Surrey County Cricket Columnists, meanwhile, tend to all be biased towards Liverpool because such a high percentage of all pundits and columnists used to play for them, although a few Arsenal old boys are breaking the monotony - if you can call the vast majority of all football columnists playing for one of two clubs "breaking the monotony."
If it's bollox that Bale has said he will leave if Modric leaves then ok,but if it's true then he can pee off. His loyalty is supposed to lie with the club and not an individual player. Modric doesn't pay him the club does so where is his loyalty?
A little unfair. We do want loyalty to the club, but if the club appear to settle for mediocrity by selling their better players you can undertsand how someone ambitious would question his future. Us fans would be royally peed off if Luka was sold, why not the players. We have to stay with spurs cause it is in our DNA, they don't.
Harrys, would you be so concerned if Defoe said that? "If Modric goes then I go" It's because Bale is a form player that you are defending him...right? Because Defoe's form was mediocre would you defend him if he had said the same?
Huge difference in abillity and not just form, Thor. Bale is good enough to play in the Champions League, Defoe is quite clearly not.
Even if he's as peed off as us, he should be professional enough to keep quiet about it at least and not publically announce that he's only prepared to play with the best players. Hopefully, he either said it as an extra incentive for spurs to try as hard as they can to keep him or, preferably, he didn't say it at all and its all made up.
