If he didn't turn Arsenal down do you trust Wenger's judgement? Arteta, Ramsay and Wilshere over Fabregas? Surely not.
Personally I'd like to have seen us resign him. But as Wenger said, we have Ozil, another player than Utd missed, playing in Fabregas' position now. That's why Fabregas didn't snub Arsenal, it was the other way around. Anyway, getting back on topic. This thread is about Utd. Are you happy with Van Gaal's statement that he's happy going into the new season with the players he's already got ? I honestly thought he'd arrive at Utd and make a couple of big signings like Hummels and Kroos.
Ozil used to be one of the best players in the world. Then he joined Arsenal. That's got to be a concern. Van Gaal seems to be happy to develop a team starting with the players at his disposal. It's unlikely to be an overnight job. You should appreciate that as a Gooner. Wenger's been working on a title winning team for ten years and isn't any closer to finding a solution!

To be fair i think Wenger made a good call here, Fabregas would be up against Ramsey (and posibly Ozil), he would not get in the team ahead of either of these and is too good/expensive to sit on the bench. Wilshere is a non-entity who is only in the squad because he is an Arsenal product and English.
That was a very poor attempt at wumming by that silly arsenal c**t An apology of a wum! First he said that vermalaen snubbed united but then he was happy that arsenal had not let the player go to a rival and not repeat the mistake with RVP.
