Since when did Koeman say he wanted Vlaar? I must have missed it or is this just Lambert being a dick?

 

think he mentioned it a couple weeks back. wasnt really out of order, iirc was just asked if he was actively looking at him and didn't deny it, did say he was an 'option'

 

Yeah he said Vlaar "was an option" but..."an expensive one." I didn't like that bit so much.

Simon Peach says Saints are now planning to sign Florin Gardos AND Marcos Rojo.

Club also chasing Sam Byram, Nathan Redmond and others - including another new striker.

Rojo, Gardos, Ings, Byram...while not quite my perfect summer, if we get them over yon line in addition to the signings to date, I'll gladly admit that I was wrong about the board's intentions.
