They might have had 55% of possession, but the ball was in their half for 78% of the match. 1st 70 minutes it was a Championship playing a non-league team - they only got into the game by bringing Smith on, forgetting about the passing game they've trained at all Summer, and reverting to hoofball

One thing you have to admire about Hockaday... He kept his word when he said he would be starting with his probable lineup against Millwall in our last friendly games. I just didn't believe he really thought it was the best team. By the end of his time here he might just manage a worse record than Brian McDermott

The other week you said to me we are lucky we are playing the worst team in the division, we lost to them, they had three first team players missing as well, I am not looking to pick a fight with you, do I believe only your view of the game or the others who went and the tv pundits and the reporters? What is 100% fact is we lost, we failed to score and our so called best two available signings were on the bench, they were unused and Hockaday feels Hunt is better than them

Read what I said ristac,millwall the better team while hunt was on.we were the better team after Smith came on and could have got something from the game,better performance than last season IMO.And if manager had not played hunt I believe we would have won.
Going bed myself,good cup final battle win mighty,we will win the war I have no doubts as usual. Do try harder to make the second cup final the misses is no fun and its dirty looks as I down the Newcastle brown,not that it stopped me .
