Just been speaking to a lad I go to games with, and he reckons according to an officer that he knows, we are all being fenced in at the SOS in just over a month's time.

Whilst the club aren't getting rid of fans travelling on the train, the fences will be put up outside the ground again, and then fences going up inside the ground. He never said how big they would be, but they are obviously to stop fans getting at each other and possibly throwing objects across at each other.

This is really taking things slightly too far, he also reckons our allocation is set to be reduced to 2700 because of these.

Once again the handful of trouble makers from each side have won again.

I don't know how true it is, I personally don't think they will put fences up inside the ground, but we will have to wait and see.

Are they gonna put a fence around our keeper to stop him getting attacked again for the 3rd derby in a row

Exactly. I wonder if their **** stewards will do their job this year. The ****ers run on the pitch when they get a ****ing corner, the stewards just put them back in their seats.

Can't say I saw any of out guys causing trouble. The kid that went onto the field was a mackem and his dad made him apologise for his behaviour. The seats in our area were already missing when we went in, just as well most prefer standing because they didn't really have a choice.

I don't know like, I remember walking out, I was one of the last to leave as I was on the back row almost, and I looked back up at the seats and loads had been snapped <laugh> Same in their end though.

Sounds like what they do on the continent, wouldn't like to be fenced in personally.

They should be fencing themselfs in! Attacking our keeper, pitch invasions when THEY won atc. Unbelievable

I don't think our numbers should be reduced either. We never have problems at SJP. Whay don't they limit their numbers instead, to say... half their total fans. Could have one red seat and one white. Done. :p

They take them to the pub.

You can never get a seat in the pub on match days and I think that's Quinns biggest gripe.

Their stewards are all women and old blokes, no wonder they're scared to do their job when their monkey fans start kicking off.

Exactly, and that's not me being biased. There is never seats thrown, never any trouble outside the ground, just fans pushing police.

The police make things worse imo, walking through the turnstiles, its ****ing packed inside already and the there is a police officer for every turnstile just stood there as you walk in making things worse.

Has anyone got any footage of Nolan's goal at the SOS? When he scores, you see a steward in the Newcastle end jump up and start celebrating, he then realises he has to stop our fans getting on the pitch and returns to do his job, he basically ran into the fans, probably to continue celebrating.

A kid that sits beside me at the game used to be a steward at the SOS to get the cash to pay for his ST at our place.
