    According to a mate at the game:

    Bertrand - Not Shaw, but decent enough - needs to get higher up the pitch though
    Taïder - Tidy player, keeps the ball well and quite industrious
    Tadić - very impressive, creates a lot of openings
    Pellè - really strong, wins a lot of balls and brings others into play, not enough clear cut chances

    That pretty much matches my expectations for Bertrand, Taider and Tadic and I'm at least content with all those signings. Still not convinced about Pelle as our first choice striker (I realise that may change but this is the current position and the season starts in just a week). I wish we'd had more signings like Tadic, who I'm really quite excited about but there's still time for that, even though there haven't been too many exciting rumours.

    Taider. Looks a tw4t, but what a difference he makes!! Very happy for all the new signings. Agree with another comment I saw; we may need a striker to play off Pelle...not to mention another CB.
