Due to regulations does anyone know where it's likely to be played. I know the Heysel stadium isn't far and is 50,000 just looking as looking to fly into Brussels so it would make it easier
Lokeren want it played at Lokeren and they meet the minimum UEFA requirements, so it probably will be. Bad news for us, we'll probably get less than 600 tickets.
surely there's going to be a few dissappointed travelling as a result (hopinh for Season ticket priority). I also thought there stadium had standing which isn't allowed as per UEFA.
They've just expanded the seating to 12,000, so now meet UEFA requirements. I suspect many who have booked trips already will have trouble getting tickets, a season ticket alone is unlikely to get you one, we have over 15,000 season ticket holders and only 600 tickets to sell.
Hopefully they move the game then, any idea when it's likely to be announced where it's going to be played?
Is 5% a recommendation, a guideline, a minimum ? What if they don't have segregation of an area containing less than say 2,000?
think for UEFA it's a guideline, however, I have seen agreements between clubs to allow more. Doubt it will happen for us
It would be a travesty if city did not receive a minimum of 2000 tickets for this game. I hope officials at the club are pushing hard for the absolute maximum.
Much will depend on the layout of their ground and whether they reckon they can sell more then 10k home tix.
I think they might have problems of loads of City in the town without tickets. I'd go regardless and try locals etc. Hopefully they'll see sense and give us a decent allocation.
I went through this on the draw thread. Lokeren in previous seasons have played at Heysel, but as their stadia has been recently expanded it is unlikely it will be moved.
Using Google translate from club website you get this sentence 'More details about prices of tickets and possible misalignment may in the beginning of next week are expected.' Misalignment I presume in google translate speak probably means they are thinking of changing the venue. Mind you my interpretation of what it says could be totally wrong!
I have booked a party of us on ferry and into hotel. We will be there whatever. Simply cannot avoid being involved in a city european game of this nature. Hopefully we will be in the stadium, but if not will still enjoy the experience. Sure there will be many others, hence, why i hope officials at the club are pushing hard for the absolute maximum tickets.
Yep, that's what their site says. Would be handy if they could relocate it to Ostend or Zeebrugge.....
