I'm expecting a dull draw. Too many of our boys were far from 'match ready' during the Emirates and I can't see how one week is going to improve them. I am relying upon our defence to keep us in the game as I don't see us scoring more than 1, if any.

    Caballero
    Clichy Boyata Nastasic Kolorov
    yaya fernando
    Nasri Jovetic Silva
    Dzeko

Would be my guess at our starting X1
Clichy played RB on the US tour a couple of times and played really well,I think he'll be preferred there to Richards

I'd fancy beating that City lineup. I can see Arsenal having: Chesney, Debuchy, Chambers, Kos, Gibbs, Arteta, Ramsey, Cazorla, Sanchez, Giroud, Ox.

Why dont you think that a 19 year old cant ever improve on an injury struck 1st season?

Bleacher report put forward an interesting possible lineup - szczesny, debuchy, chambers, kos, gibbs, flamini, arteta, sanchez, ramsey, oxo with Sanogo upfront.

I can see the reasoning as flamini and arteta would protect chambers and the tesm is the freshest available - flamini, arteta, ramsey, sanogo, oxo, chambers all missed the world cup.

But personally id still like the class of cazorla in and sanchez upfront

.. and Abu Diaby, who had apparently a perfect pre-season, can not play, because he is, guess it, INJURED. This is not even funny. Wenger is the most patient manager on Earth.

Any source? Only thing I can find is an espn article using a French article as it's source.

Isn't this whole hip injury thing the same injury people said he had last week and wenger said he wasn't injured?

If so then a team something like:

    -----------------Szcz----------------
    Debuchy---chambers--Kosc---gibbs
    -----------Arteta---Ramsey---------
    Oxocube-----rosicky-----Cazorla
    --------------Sanchez---------------

Subs: Martinez, monreal, flamini, wilshere, Campbell, giroud, Sanogo

Maybe diaby on the bench if the rumour of his injury isn't true.

Since we have no Germans and no Walcott and vermaelen is off to barca.

I quite like that team (except swapping cazorla and rosiky) as its got pace in oxo and sanchez, energy in ramsey and rosiky and trickrty in cazorla.

So injury to Chambers or Koscielny and Monreal takes over?

Michael Owen commentating, now there's a t**t I'd dearly love to see at the wrong end of a vicious hammer attack.
