    Amen brother! I can't see them winning the appeal though because rules are rules and they would have to do the whole draw again because Legia wouldn't have been seeded in the draw I don't think, or maybe they would have, in fact I don't know.

    We shall have to agree to disagree on that one mate. What do you think would have happened if say Bayern Munich or Real Madrid did the same as Legia, do you think there would have been the same outcome? Not that they would be daft enough to put on a dodgy player.

    The rules for this are pretty clear and don't really leave any room for ambiguity. I think you said that yourself earlier on.

    Be it Celtic, Legia or Bayern, they have to apply the rule. I know what you are getting at. It's a calamitous **** up by Legia. It seems like a harsh punishment but it is black n' white.

    The context of 2 minutes, 90 minutes, scoring a hat trick or 7 own goals is irrelevant to the outcome of The UEFA investigation..... But a source of great humour when it was for 2 minutes and by the hand of an ex Hun.........More so because of this thread which was already a bit of a riddy. Like a man with a rusty wheelbarrow laughing at the guy with a puncture to his Rolls Royce.

    It's a **** rule but a rule nonetheless. Legia will have little-to-no chance with their appeal.

    I agree that rules are rules and it doesn't matter if it was 2 minutes or 70 minutes, because where would the cut off point that you would say, they could never had scored x amount of goals in that time etc but it would be interesting to see what would happen if it was one of Europe's elite teams.

    I wouldn't say I'm fizzing about it, but I would rather Celtic didn't get back into the competition which I would say is perfectly normal.

    If it wasn't already, the dye is cast now. If a European powerhouse like Barcelona, Real Madrid or Celtic do it, they can expect the same treatment.

    No, these clubs have their act together. Legia did all the hard work on the pitch then ****ed themselves over by being lax on administrative issues.

    A football club is more than just the 11 players on the pitch.
