The Hammers, Leicester & others are spending in anticipation of going up. Only time will tell whether or not their policy is a good one. But before we all go green with envy, let's just wait & see who we get in, how much it has cost us, & how the first few months of the season go. It's all looking gloomy at the moment because all we are seeing is our competitors in the press, flashing the cash whilst we appear to be doing nothing. By the back end of next week we should have a slightly clearer picture. Players will have returned from their hols & be back in training.
