Would be an inspired deal. Young and English, so fits the profile. His versatility would be a huge boon to us.
It couldn't take much more than 5.5 or so to get him surely. Even if we went as high as 7m it's less than half a Chambers!
He would be cover for Nat and fill in for Jay until he is fit, at a very reasonable price......who needs Chambers?

So it could be: Forster Byram Gardos Rojo At least joining. I would say that would make our defence stronger then last season.

Might be tricky to rival our very-good goals against tally from a year ago straightaway, but yeah; we should be solid as a base with those additions, with the chance to be very good in the near future.

Personally I don't see us getting all of theses players were supposedly interested in,if we could get Rojo over the line,and another cb would be nice.. Another cf would be beneficial imo,but the defence does have the impression of being a lot tighter than last season.
