Stadium Wifi

I wonder if our new sponsors will like the fact that the stadiums own WiFi network blocks fans from accessing gambling websites.

Wanted to put an in running bet on us yesterday when we went a goal down.

 

Cant you still do it through the cell phone tower?

 

Very rarely able to pick up network signal in stadium so no can't do it over normal 3g/4g

 

I'm sure last night they will have been delighted as you would have won some money from them.

 

I'm sure that's the case so people use the betting outlets in the stadium, they'll have known the deal when they signed up.

 

Yeah I couldn't get on betfair using the app, when I tried via Safari it said the server had blocked it

 

If anyone needs WIFI at a football match, they shouldn't be at a football match.

 

You would think KC comms would do something re Wi-Fi in.the stadium, we are all Karoo users mainly, so why cant we just log into our Karoo accounts with the stadium Wi-Fi , it makes a mockery of it been named after TeleComs Company

 

Surprised you can get any site on stadium wifi... only seems to work an hour prior when the stadium is half empty.

 

Why not just put your phone in your pocket and watch a football match?

 

Crashgate it should take ten seconds to place a bet in running on the game you are watching, we are not talking about surfing the web all game you tool

Usually no luck getting any bandwidth on it for me. Waste of time trying to log on.

 

Pleasantly surprised by my 3g reception, so wifi not working well as usual was not an issue for me.

 

Go on the concourse it's usually good reception there..don't wait until just before half time as all the pie eaters will be there
