I hope this is not true. Wickham is only now maturing on his way to be a top striker. To give a rival club the advantage of getting a 21 year old goal scorer for something less than £10m, which is cheap, is bordering on the stupid. He is precisely the kind of player we need...young, English, improving and scores goals He can only get better.
