    One of the oldest truly amateur teams in the country, that's quite a find there Bushman. I used to play for the old GLC side Witan back in the 70s and remember seeing the name of Crouch End Vampires in one of the Cup competitions we entered but we lost our first match. I always wondered what happened to them but they are still going strong in the Southern Amateur League...

    Played against them as recently as 10 years ago before retiring to my seat in R block

    I played for witan early 80's, and played against CEV 82 I think
