A massive game on the 23rd , will be one of the biggest of the season .Regardless of the outcome , there will be 9 days left in the window (August 31 is on a Sunday so I think transfers can happen on Monday ).A good showing will have players putting there nose to the ground and feeling better about possibilities. A bad showing against this promoted club at home might have some agents scurrying for an out with theyre clients with lots of time to negotiate. We need a big result here for confidence all round
Or maybe we will have a good performance against Utd and said confidence will already be boosted before Burnley.
Better still !... , just not going to hold my breath . Nobody is expecting much from the United game if we have a bad showing at old Trafford , 3 points .Everyone will be expecting 3 points from Burnley at home . A loss of both these games as of Aug 23 could have 4 players ( imo ) looking at options with 9 days till the window closes ... Bony , Dyer , Shelvey and Routledge. A win against United or and Burnley could swing players thoughts away from options
Roof, do you want me to post you a Cardiff top? You seem hell bent on being unhappy until everyone leaves the club.
Some of you are under the illustion I want players to leave and want Monk and team to fail . Within a week of Laudrup's sacking most of what I predicted is dead on . You guys can bury your heads all you want and pretend all is good . Players are leaving in droves and lots of players are saying no thanks unless we overpay, certainly not because I want it to happen , its because its all ready happened. It could get worse if we have a rough few games to start . Bony is rumoured everywhere , Dyer was in Monks bad books late last season and hardly played. With Montero now onboard , Dyer might think its his time to check out options . Routledge and Shelvey are still probably in shock after the untimely sacking and wouldnt take much to pass in a transfer request . Ill pass on being part of the ostrich family and ill pray we take at least 3 points from Burnley or things could unravel quickly , and not because I want them to , but because Im worried sick it might .
RoofJack, all I can say is, luck for you that you don't follow Cardiff. You'd be beside yourself with doom and gloom. Oh hang on.......
Premier League and we're having a laugh. We're playing Man U next week for the third time in 8 months FFS This should cheer up all the doom merchants
