Would be interesting if martinez shows pardew how to manage him.

Would be a crying shame for us if he did! Terrible waste of talent for one reason or another. Bad attitude or bad man management. Who knows........

It's a pity that the hard working, consummate professional team player that Ben Arfa is has had his career plagued by managers that can't man manage.
It's not as though Ben Arfa has proved difficult to work with over the years.

I know what you're saying but It add to the saga if martinez gets the best out of him.

Like most players that leave I'd bet he wins something.

Pardew's belief he has a better squad this season will make him look daft and if Ben arfa was a everton out to prove people wrong the fans would turn on him very fast indeed.

Is this something that is happening or rumoured to be, couldn't see any note of it? His next move is last chance saloon. He'll either have to get on with Martinez or whoever or be faced with a wasted career. I'd prefer to see him go abroad on the off chance he sorts himself out but I wouldn't be overly concerned as I'm not sure he wouldn't just end up falling out with Martinez in 2 years time. He hasn't respected any manager so far, not sure he is about to change at 27.

Would hate him to go to another team that we might play against - he would tear us a new ........

Don't want to see him go to another Prem team, got a nasty feeling he should single handedly anialate us just to prove a point!

    I think this will happen

    I'm usually right

For him it's a move to a better club and martinez will use him well.

Would be a great move as long as hes not allowed to play against nufc.

A highly motivated barfa in the last year of his contract playing for a big money move on the back of his performances. Hell take points of other teams for us.

The rumour is a loan move and I dont believe it to be accurate. If I am mistaken about its accuracy, he wouldnt be able to play against us. Every toon fan knows he would dance around williamson, Taylor and Collo and score a worldy. Also dont see the benefit of a loan when he is on a free next year. If he is going to leave then at least get 4-5m for him

But why pay his wage when our inept manager won't use it

This is the key I think.
If it gets 50k pw off the wage will it's worth doing.
    Same for Jonas.

Aye, especially as no one will pay for either of them.

I doubt anyone would pa their full wages.

I prefer him not playing against us. I prefer him being sold abroad even more so he can't play against us and also we take a fee. I think he is the type to run down his contract though and then bugger off to Qatar or somewhere like that to earn mega money. Or he could just try apologising for his recent behaviour, trim down (I believe he has done), be professional, keep the weight off, work hard and force the manager to pick him. That is normal procedure when trying to get back in favour. He can't seriously expect to just walk back in? If his grand plan is to wait Pardew out, then this is flawed on 2 levels. One, whereas most of us fans would like a change in manager, the owner doesn't appear to have any plans to remove him. Two, if a new manager comes in, he is still going to expect the same professional standards for a football club so he'll still have to work hard.

It comes down to what he wants. If, as he claims, he loves the club, he'll stop tripping over his pet lip and be man enough to apologise. If he wants to go the other way way then he should **** off and let the club move on. I don't want the unacceptable situ of him not moving but resfusing to apologise and sitting around the reserves spoiling the atmosphere. I would like a sale if that is the case but a loan would be next best. I'm not comfortable him playing against us. Regardless how he has turned things sour here, he is still talented on his day. If we sell him here you can bet one of his days would against us!
