A pint of Guinness and a pot of mussels cooked with some white wine and garlic,brown bread makes a lovely lunch or starter.

Crab claws do the trick as well.

Mussels are great. Had some from Aldi's last night funnily enough.

When people say "funnily enough" it tends to mean funny peculiar rather than funny ha ha. The fact i had something for dinner last night which is now being discussed on here is strange or unexpected all be it rather trivial. Strange and unusual are two meanings of the word peculiar so yes Gambol - it was funny.
