Maybe Snodgrass should have been there to help Brady out but Brady's passing was shocking and you can't blame Snodgrass for that. Personally I thought there was more pressure put on Hudds and Livermore with Snodgrass not seeming to help out.

I agree though, I think he'll come good, he just needs a rocket up his arse or a bit of a slap at kick off!

Snodgrass was poor I thought until the last twenty when he played out wide looked much more comfortable on the left

He definitely looks better out wide to me.

Personally I thought he had a poor game last night. However Burnsy seems to be impressed by him. So it just shows you how subjective things are.

I agree with this, although their right back was built like a prop forward so it was a bit of a task trying to get round him!

I think you can see that just by how divided this thread is!

cogley, I thought he was their best player, caused us no end of problems till rosenior came on

rosenior looked quality, he suddenly nullified all their play from the right

id rather us play 4 at the back, this wing back requires the players to be extremely sharp, and the space for their goal was shocking

Come on, that is exactly what you want! What is wrong with fans of this football club, every team moans at refs it helps you get decisions. That in the south east corner was a blatant foul, their man didn't go for the ball just came across and shoves Snodgrass over.

I had a couple behind me doing exactly the same. He insisted Long crossed for Elmo though. They were adamant that Bruce was going to substitute him from the 4th minute.

Thought Snodgrass wasn't great for most of the match but as others have said much improved towards the end of the game. Was involved in 3 or 4 incidents which could / should and did result in a goal which will make a difference to our season and demonstrated a few times a more aggressive / annoying side which as has been mentioned previously is fine now he is one of ours.

Personally I think the formation didn't help anyone last night. I know Bruce has some sort of love-in with 352, but the majority of the time we have used it over the last year, we have looked pants. We seemed to come to life when we changed to a 442(ish) shape in the 2nd half.

    McGregor
    Elmo Chester Davies Rosie
    Ince Thudd Livermore Snoddy
    Sagbo Long

I'd like to see Sagbo and Aluko play up top, but each seem to drift off too much and it would leave is with no one on pestering the oppo centre backs.

Sagbo should be a beast if he would sit up top as a target man, he rarely gives the ball away and would give the likes of Ince, Long, Snoddy to come into play.

I think the problem with 3-5-2 is that people have associated us with it and have therefore worked out how to beat it. Snodgrass cut a frustrating figure until he was moved out wide, where he improved vastly. There were a couple of times when he did shirk a tackle that he probably could've got to, but overall I thought he was decent.

This^^...Did Norwich ever play anything apart from 4-4-2 last season? He just seemed a bit lost for a half in the 3-5-2 but improved when we switched.

    I'd play Thudd/Livers/Meyler in a 3-5-2 and Snodders/Livers/Thudd/Ince in a 4-4-2.

I thought Snodgers (disappointed at the lack of use of his nickname on this thread) had a decent game. He's hardworking and his dead balls were a huge improvement on anything we had last season.

Brady infuriates me. Every time he gets the ball his back is to goal and he turns inside. You'd think he was right footed. In that respect Elmo is so much more positive and 'cross focussed'.

I liked how Snodgrass and Long were linking up off the back of Sagbo's hold ups.

Biggest gripe of this forum is:

    Chezzer
    Elmo
    Saggerz
    Snodders
    Hudderz
    Livz
    Macca
    Rosserz

Maybe not all written like that but you get the picture. Makes me cringe.

I must admit I was tempted to sing we all hate Leeds scum when Snoddy was near the South Stand.....

BUT I WAS THINKING IT MORE IN JEST.

It will take a bit of time for me to warm to Snoddy
as it did when we signed Billy Brenner

    Bloody Leeds twats.... :)

Though i never boo or slag any of our players off though even if they mess up or have a bad game.

It happens to all players at times .

And like others I hate having people moaning on near me and I do say something to the moaning gits

When people go on about our players being **** or our team being crap I always think back to when we really was **** though the moaning ones no doubt never watched city back then
