please log in to view this image What's wrong with The Circle? Come on City, do we really have to try and force the word Tigers into everything? Before watching the game, I had a drink in the newly named Premier Tigers lounge, it's getting farcical, it's not a ****ing kids club.
I would like the stadium to be called 'The Circle', however in this age of football, it is always going to be sold to the highest bidder. Incidentally, when, if ever does the naming rights for the KC end?
You can't use a sponsors name on your stadium in Europe, that's why they should have called it The Circle. KC's sponsorship doesn't expire until 2025.
That photo is pixelated to me so I can't read it properly, but it has separate lists A and B on there. Looks like we've got 10 U-21's registered on the B list, can anyone see who they are?
Not really worth getting wound up about, they couldn't use the stadium name so had to come up with something arbitrary that only a handful of people will ever see. I like that it was our nickname as well, 'The Tigers' not 'Hull Tigers' or 'Hull City Tigers'
It does wind me up though. It winds me up that every reference to the club in my renewal forms said 'Hull City Tigers' and every email I get starts 'Dear Premier Tiger'. I'm not a ****ing tiger, I'm a person, address me as one. It's pathetic.
I agree with what your saying there and your right it is getting a little much, but I think as an arbitrary name for the stadium its not too bad, shame it has to be everything else as well.
Starting to get a bit 'John Merrick' there OLM you better go and lay down....oh no , don't do that..!
I've never forgiven the Allams for infiltrating the supporters trust years ago and bullying them int, calling it the Tigers Co op, fiendish bastards
Actually, that's one of my concerns, these actions are making 'Tigers' a dirty word and that's a shame.
It makes absolutely no sense for KC to sponsor the stadium. It's 2014 and everyone want the internet. And because they have the monopoly of the city and we can't choose anything else we know we have to go with KC. So effectively they are throwing money down the drain. It would make sense if BT, Sky and Virgin was available here.
Also. If the compromise was 'we will no longer pursue a name change of the club' but will change the nam of the stadium to 'Tigers Stadium' then I would bite their hand off. Much better than the Wonga Arena.
