The marathon begins in 2 days time and to help my good friend Dave I have tried to unravel the 24 runners
    Promotion
1 Derby they just lost out last season in my view they were unlucky and if they have added a striker and someone to help Hughes the best player in the division will be there abouts
2Wigan if Rosler had been in charge all season they would have been promoted no doubt so they look good to rejoin the premiership
    top 6
I expect Forest who have added Fryatt and Jack hunt to finish strongly
Cardiff if they can keep Mardell who is awesome .They have added LeFondre Macheda to give them firepower
Boro have bought wisely this close season so will be there or there abouts
Leeds thought this would make you laugh but I think if the boys gell we could well be looking at a top 6 finish
we now have the basics right a good back 4 a lot we depend on Matt Smith and Bianchi and how the midfield gel and wether or not we get a proven striker
    Relegation
Blackpool Oyston has taken 34m out of the club and has committed hari kari
Birmingham its well documented what I think about Lee Clarke so it will no surprise especially since they have lost Chris Burke
Out siders for top6 Wolves Brighton
    Hope this helps
    MIKE

Agree with most of that Mike, but I don't think you have the squad for a top 6 finish - If you look at the Watford team that very nearly beat Hull to 2nd spot on the last day 2 seasons ago, they were loaded with internationals and Championship players.
Their foreign imports were worth £3/4M each (Vydra, Foresteiri, Ekstrand, Cassetti, Pudil, Anya, Abdi, etc) alongside English players like Troy Deeney, Fitz Hall, Jonathon Hogg, Mark Yeates, Lloyd Doyley & Nyron Nosworthy) managed by the experienced Zola.

Last season this squad (minus Vydra) only finished 13th.
Have a look at your current squad, and it is miles behind them - if you finish above 13th I will be very surprised <ok>

No, We hopefully now have Byram playing the majority of the season whereas last he didn't play much and when he did he looked injured still.

Really hoping Taylor will come through and take over that left back role with Warnock as backup. Also have Berardi that can play either fullback role and seems a very good option, will probably work his way into the first team but not sure where yet.

Still expecting Sorenson to sign which will be a huge boost and he'll definitely be in the first team if/when he signs.

This evaluation doesn't even include our keeper and there is no one that can convince me that Kenny isn't the worst first team keeper we have had in many years, also Cellino is saying we are going to be adding another defender to the squad before the close of the window.
